Copal Blanco Essential Oil can be used in a variety of ways such as:
Aromatherapy: offers uplifting and calming effects that can reduce stress, anxiety, mental fatigue, and promotes emotional balance. It can also be used as a respiratory support due to its anti-inflammatory properties and active compound pinene.
Purification & Cleansing: used in a diffuser to cleanse and sanctify spaces, clear out negative energy, and protect environments during spiritual practices.
Meditation & Ceremony: supports focus, grounding energies, and one's connection to the spiritual realm when used in rituals and meditation.
Natural Perfumery: valued for its citrusy yet resinous scent, this oil is used as a bright note in perfumes, candles, and other scent making processes.
Topical Use: when adequately diluted, it can be applied to sore muscles, joints, or the skin to address inflammation, pain, wounds, dermatitis, blemishes, or irritation. A patch test is highly recommended especially for those with sensitive skin.

Copal Blanco (also known as White Copal) has been used in rituals and ceremonies by the indigenous peoples of Mesoamerican for thousands of years. Sometimes called the "Blood of the Trees" and the "Food for the Gods," it's essential oil has been prized for its uplifting, cleansing, and focosing effects. Copal Blanco (not to be confused with copal from India or copaiba from the Amazon) is often used in natural perfumery for its unique resinous-citrus smell and brightness. Spiritually, it is also used in aromatherapy, to create a sacred space, meditation, energy work, and to encourage spiritual and emotional healing.*


Samvara's Copal Blanco Essential Oil No.001 was crafted with the utmost reverence for this sacred resin, in a microbatch distillation, that is unlike any other copal oil on the market today. Sustainably hand-harvested from the Burseracee plant family in Mexico by local communities using traditional methods which protect both the trees and indigenous practices. The creation of Batch No.001 required over 65 hours of meticulous extraction. Nearly impossible to produce commercially, most oils available in stores labeled as Copal Oil are actually synthetic blends or imitation fragrance oils, not derived from the authentic and rare Copal Blanco of Mexico. With deep respect for this mystical resin, Samvara is extremely proud of offer this very limited batch of essential oil to our costumers.
