We recommend applying one drop to a clean fingertip and gently rubbing on the affected wound, burn, blemish, skin ulcer, etc. Use more drops for a larger surface area. Allow some time for the oil to be absorbed into the skin (or cover with a bandage) to avoid any color transfer to clothing, bedding, etc. Ovum Healing Oil should be reapplied to the affected area multiple times a day until its fully healed. Focus on your healing and you should intuitively feel when more oil is needed: typically reapply 3 to 5 times per day.Ovum Oil’s shelf life can be several years, especially when its stored in a dark and cool location. Avoid having the oil, its bottle, or dropper come into direct contact with water as it might change the oil's consistency.
For most small surface area wounds, one drop should suffice. Correspondingly, greater surface areas will require more drops of oil. Our 5 ml bottle contains approximately 200 drops, which should last on average 1-3 months depending on your daily use.
A TOPICAL HEALING OINTMENT TO REMEDY ANY SKIN AILMENT
This organic egg yolk extract (also known cosmetically as egg oil) helps to boost the body's healing process up to four times its normal rate. It carries a fatty acid profile that mirrors human skin which allows for the oil to penetrate the epidermis to hydrate and heal it at the cellular level. These fatty acids also moisturize and soften the skin while reinforcing its lipid barrier, which reduces inflammation and induces faster wound closure.
